Dr. Russ Rauls relocated with his family from North Carolina in August 2011.
Originally from Arkansas, Dr. Rauls attended the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) in Conway as an undergraduate and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock for his advanced medical degrees.
Dr. Russ Rauls received a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from UCA in 2001. Earning his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2005, Dr. Rauls completed both his Internship and Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at UAMS. In July 2011, Dr. Rauls completed his Orthopaedic Fellowship in Combined Adult Reconstruction and Sports Medicine at Triangle Orthopaedic Associates in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Rauls is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and currently holds active medical licenses in Arkansas and Missouri.
Dr. Rauls has been married to Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Tenille Rauls, since 2001. The couple has five children: Lexi, Lauren, Will, Carlos and Eli. Eli was adopted in September 2018. They co-parent Carlos with his biological father. They have become very involved in civic and charitable causes in Mountain Home, including serving as foster parents.
Dr. Russ Rauls was honored by the Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce as a 2022 Medical Provider of the Year during the Annual Banquet & Membership Meeting, held on Thursday, February 2, 2023.
